As a way to pay my respects to Diane Keaton, I watched Annie Hall over the weekend.

It had been years since I’d seen the movie and I had to play what I saw against how it indoctrinated me when I’d first seen it. How I had looked to Woody Allen to understand how I was supposed to behave as a woman.

This is what I learned.
